Years. She delivered babies for the rich Nawabs and Rajas. By the same token she also delivered babies for the many poor living in Patna. Gertruth was highly regarded as a Midwife & Nurse. She died in Perth W.A. 1997 at the good age of 89. Gertruth was the sister of Frank Davis and sang with his band when young.

He was also President of the A-I Gidney Club in Delhi, where the Anglo-Indian AGMs were held each year. He devoted his working life to the betterment of
Anglo-Indians in Delhi.
